Refund policy
Stated plainly because a buyer should not have to read a contract to find it. The binding version is section 5 of the terms, and this page does not add to it or soften it.
The general rule
Credits are delivered the moment a payment succeeds and are consumed as you use them, so fees are non-refundable — including for credits left unused when a period ends. This does not affect rights you have under consumer law in your own jurisdiction that cannot be waived by agreement.
Cancelling, and the one case we do refund
Cancel at any time in the billing portal. It stops the next renewal, takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and is not pro-rated. The one refund we make of our own accord is when we discontinue the service: we then return the unused portion of your current period.
If you were charged in error
Write to us within 30 days of the charge and we will investigate. Purchases are made from Polar, our merchant of record, so anything returned is returned by Polar to the method you paid with, under its own terms.
